KIARRA LEVESQUE
MEDICINE TEAM LEADER
Dr. Kiarra Levesque serves as the Medicine Team Lead for AMPATH Ghana at Tamale Teaching Hospital. She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Population Health, Section for Global Health, at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Prior to joining AMPATH Ghana, Dr. Levesque trained at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine Internal Medicine Program in the Primary Care track, where she developed a strong foundation in caring for underserved communities, chronic disease management and medical education.
Dr. Levesque is excited to partner with the staff at TTH and UDS to build sustainable educational initiatives that enhance clinical skills such as point of care ultrasound and management of emergent conditions. She is also passionate about supporting local efforts to advance disability-inclusive care in Northern Ghana.
Dr. Levesque received her MD from University of Washington School of Medicine, completed her Internal Medicine residency at NYU Langone, and holds a Master of Science in Nutrition from Columbia University.
